What was life like in the trenches?
We have been finding out about life in the trenches inspired by Keith Campion’s book, The Last Post and artefacts kindle lent to us by Kingswood Heritage Museum.
We sent our writing to the author of The Last Post, Keith Campion. He was kind enough to read through it and sent us this lovely response.

November 2020
Atlantis and Endeavour walked to Warmley War Memorial. Both classes read poems and facts about Remembrance Day then held a minutes silence. They also had chance to explore the memorial gardens and look at the names of those recorded on the memorial for WW1, our topic this term. We laid a wreath of poppies, made by the children, on the memorial from St Barnabas.
Please view some photos and video of the Remembrance Events.
