Hello and welcome to Phoenix Class!
This term our topic question is ‘Why is Warmley wonderful?’. We will be exploring our local area and thinking about where we live. In Phoenix class we endeavour to try our best and always aim high to reach our potential. This year, we will continue to build our independence and work towards becoming more inquisitive learners. Watch this space for updates of all the exciting learning we will be engaging in!

Term 5 Pirates
The children used google earth and atlases to identify continents and oceans. They spotted the continent we live in and found U.K. on the map. We used our compass skills to find continents which were north, south, east and west from Europe . We looked at different routes pirates could have taken and which oceans they’d have travelled through. We then used our geography knowledge to create our own globes.
An exciting Visit to our local bakery as part of our Wonderful Warmley topic. The children ordered their own treat and paid for it by themselves, checking they had the right money. Phoenix class demonstrated exceptional manners and especially enjoyed sampling their treat when we stopped for a snack before heading back to school.
