2023-24

Term 3: English – Miss F and Miss M were very proud of our writing about the text ‘The Secret Sky Garden’. We definitely persuaded our teachers to come and visit our very own sky gardens!

Term 3: Our Assembly

Here’s our assembly on courageous advocacy. We were taught by the fire fighters how to stay safe if we ever find ourselves in a dangerous situation. We knew that this information was so important so we decided to share it with the rest of the school. We also helped them to learn about how fire safety has changed and we shared our knowledge and understanding from our learning on The Great Fire of London.

Term 3: Music

Here we are enjoying our music lesson – we focused on using a range of percussion instruments and keeping a rhythm.

Term 3: Gym – We have enjoyed developing our gymnastic skills this term. To finish the term, we had to use all of our new skills in our final lesson on different apparatus.

Term 3: History – We had a great discussion in our History lesson about whether Edith Cavell did the right thing by protecting the soldiers from two different sides. We were very thoughtful in our responses and we now know why Edith Cavell was a significant individual.

Term 3: Computing – We have enjoyed testing our algorithms on our mini robot this term. We didn’t always get our algorithms right first time but we persevered and Miss F was very proud of how clear our instructions become.

Term 3: maths – Phoenix class love hands on learning! Here we are selecting the correct coins to buy items from our class shop.

Term 2: PE – ball and invasion skills

Term 1: History. Exploring what life was like in the Victorian era.

Term 1: Art
