This term we are excited to learn about:

Geography – We will be continuing to learning about Rivers – including Siston Brook and an Egypt focus.

Science – We will be learning about all living things.

RW – We will be exploring the question ‘What is it like to follow God?’

Computing – Our focus will be to continue thinking about repetition in shapes and data logging.

PSHE – We will be thinking about ‘Healthy Me’

Art – We will be focusing on Collage linked to our rivers learning.

Maths – We will be continuing securing our multiplication and division facts for our times tables. We will be learning and embedding every times table up to the 12 times table. We will then move to applying these skills to a range of multiplication and division questions such as dividing a 2 digit by a 1 digit number! We will then be thinking about length and perimeter! Please encourage your children to continue practising their times tables on TT Rock stars. This vital for their learning and for the upcoming multiplication check.

English –We will be focusing on our new book ‘Nour’s secret library’. A beautiful picture book about the power of books to heal, transport and create safe spaces during difficult times. We will be advancing our grammar skills such as through the use of noun phrases expanded with a prepositional phrase and using the present perfect form of verbs. This term we will continue to focus on using compound and complex sentences accurately, including accurate subordinate clauses and writing for a variety of purposes. We will be creating both fiction and non-fiction pieces using the text as our inspiration.

We look forward to a fantastic term!
