At St. Barnabas: Aspire, Believe – Together Achieve.

We are proud to be Church of England school and while embracing a Christian ethos, we also respect and acknowledge other faiths and personal views of the world. Our diverse membership is reflected in our inclusive practices. The children experience a daily act of worship, where values are explored through stories and discussions. Christian festivals are celebrated and we enjoy termly visits to St. Barnabas church. All faiths are welcome here.

Our values are at the very heart of all the decisions we make and all of our community have a good understanding of our core purpose – to provide high quality education in a caring, Christian environment.

We have high expectations for our learners, encouraging them to be aspirational and providing them with the skills they need to be successful in their future lives. We endeavour to deliver a positive and stimulating approach to learning that fosters a child’s confidence and nurtures self-belief. By working together with our parents, we are confident our learners will achieve their goals.

Our key values, which are developed under our umbrella vision are:

  • Responsibility
  • Respect
  • Perseverance
  • Forgiveness
  • Compassion
  • Wisdom
