Welcome to St Barnabas C of E Primary School

committed to providing a high quality education in a caring, Christian community.

At St Barnabas we are committed to providing high quality education for all our pupils. We believe in learning without limits, giving pupils the confidence to grow and fulfil their potential. Our shared aim is to give our learners the tools they need for a successful future.

St Barnabas is situated in North Common, Warmley, on the outskirts of Bristol. We currently have 221 pupils on roll, organised into nine classes. We are lucky to have extensive grounds, which the school makes good use of. We are constantly seeking ways to develop our curriculum to include opportunities to learn outside and recognise that our pupils can thrive by learning in different environments.

Term 3

The 'Explore' part of our curriculum has already generated a swell of excitement around learning as our young people focus on geography and science skills this spring.

Inspired by their training day, our teachers are enthused and committed to take the learning outside this term. Have a look through the gallery to see what potential lessons we tried out on our INSET day.

Our VALUE this term is COMPASSION.

In our first Praise assembly we heard some fantastic examples of our children being compassionate. Kaiya and Zara Sanders and Georgia Arlett donated their hair to enable wigs to be made for children suffering with cancer, what a wonderful thing to do. We are all very proud of you.
